I live on Maui in a working class neighborhood
somewhere on the lower end of the middle class experience. I'm here by
choice where I have found riches not in my possessions but rather, in the
fewness of my wants.
On Maui some live out of their cars under plastic
tarps, others live in 50 million dollar second homes. Along the roadsides are
found fruit and flower stands with a box to drop in money. There's no cashier. You just pick up what you need and go you merry way. It's a good way to
buy and sell.
There has never been a monetary system based on paper
money that did not fail. Spend it while you can...
